Scholarship for Children of Active-Duty, Retired or Active Reserve Coast Guard Commissioned Officers.
Successful applicants can expect an award from $2,500 to $5,000.

What is TOPS?
The Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) is a program of state merit-based scholarships for Louisiana residents who attend either one of the Louisiana Public Colleges and Universities, schools that are a part of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, Louisiana approved Proprietary and Cosmetology Schools or institutions that are a part of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.
Project Graduation
- A parent or guardian physically checks you out in person.
- You have a confirmed school-related sports event the following morning (verification from the school is required).

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
A student must meet all graduation requirements in order to participate in the Graduation Ceremony on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 7:00 pm at Southeastern Louisiana University Center.
SENIOR BREAKFAST
The 4th Annual FHS Senior Breakfast to celebrate the accomplishments of the class of 2026 will be held in the Castine Center at Pelican Park on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 9:00 am. ALL SENIORS are invited to attend the breakfast at no cost, but must RSVP through the Senior Google Classroom by Friday, April 17, 2026. The expected attire for the breakfast is business casual. Seniors will be allowed to purchase two additional tickets for guests. The tickets will be $15 each and available for purchase on My Payments Plus until Friday, April 17, 2026.
Baby Photos
To celebrate, we'll be showing a slideshow of senior baby photos at the end-of-year senior breakfast (for both parents and seniors). Please submit one baby picture of your senior by December 19, 2025.

- To upload more than one file, Ctrl-click on each file name. You can upload 10 images at a time.
- Click each thumbnail to select it and enter information about all images.
This assures that the yearbook is correct, if the photos are used. - Click Submit Image Information when you are done.
