LEAP scores in Tammany stay above La. averages
..........Among high school students taking the GEE, Fontainebleau High School near Mandeville had the highest percentage of students earning scores of basic or above in English and math, at 82 percent and 88 percent, respectively. Northshore High School in Slidell had the next-highest scores: 80 percent and 85 percent in English and math, respectively.

Fontainebleau High School WAS named as one of the top-performing schools in the country in the January 15TH, 2009 issue of Business Week. Great Schools—an independent, nonprofit organization that inspires parents to be involved in their children’s education—and Business Week partnered to identify five top-performing high schools in each state.

Located in the heart of St. Tammany Parish, Fontainebleau High School is the largest and youngest of the seven high schools. Opening August 1994 with 775 ninth and tenth grade students, Fontainebleau High has grown to over 2200 students.
